The Osun state political crisis which erupted on Sunday due to the sack of the APC LG chairmen and councillors in the state, is gradually escalating into what the global community should look into, cried out the PDP state chairman, Hon. The Independent National  Electoral Commission ( INEC), has set a limit of 1bnaira as campaign finance/expenses for political parties contesting the gubernatorial elections.  The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ondo state, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola said this at the workshop organized by INEC for political parties.in the state. She said, this is stupilated for political parties and their audirors, according to section 88 (3) of the electoral law. Let's recall campaigns started since 19th of June 2024 and as a result,  INEC deems it fit to sensitize all political parties and their auditors on campaign finance/ expenses.
