Former deputy senate president,  Senator Ike Ekweremadu has been sentenced to jail in the United Kingdom over what the UK Court termed as modern day slavery. Recall that Senator Ike Ekweremadu and wife, Beatrice  Ekweremadu were in search of who will donate his or her kidney to their sick daughter, Sonia and in the course of doing so, a hustler who hawks phone accessories in a wheelbarrow in Lagos, Nigeria , was contacted by their lawyer, Obinna Obeta, and all arrangements done, this hawker whose name is not released to the media even now, was taken to London.   Unfortunately, the table turned against the Ekweremadus and the hawker denied ever having a knowledge of why he was taken to the UK in the first place. In his words,  he said, I don't have any idea of the real reason i was invited to London. What I was told was for job employment.  Big question is, is it really possible this hawker from Lagos, Nigeria, did not know the real reason of his ...
