Ondo State Ministry Of Women Affairs And Social Development Celebrates Children's Day With Ondo Children And Schools As Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa Attends.

The Women Affairs And Social Development Commission in Ondo State celebrated Children's Day,  27th of May 2024, in a grand style with the children and schools in Ondo State.  The newly inaugurated commissioner,  Deaconess  Omolola Juliannah Fagbemi, who was the  former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ondo State, was in attendance.

Governor Orimisan Aiyedatiwa was also in attendance.  He celebrated the Children's Day with all the children and schools present at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Square in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State.  
In his key note address, he urged all Ondo State children and students to be more focused in their studies and talents in order to be become better leaders in the near future.

Children's Day Celebration is celebrated all over Nigeria on the 27th of May every year.  This year was no exemption.  In some parts of the country,  some had their celebrations in grand styles why some had it in low key due to the economic situations in Nigeria. 
But the big questions here are: How well is the average Nigerian child been taken care of in Nigeria? How well are his or her dreams and aspirations been taken into cognizance by his or her rich or poor parents? What are the roles and plans of the state and federal government in the life of the average Nigerian child? Why do we have millions of out school children in Nigeria? What is the future of the Nigerian child in recent day Nigeria?

Naira Marley, a Nigerian artiste, became the new face of NDLEA  on the  17th of August  2023 as he visited the headquarters of the NDLEA situated in Abuja, the federal capital territory, to campaign and kick against drug abuse and substance abuse. The chairman of the NDLEA, Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa, a one time Lagos state administrator, opened his door to him and his team.
