FROM SUIT TO JALABIA(S), GODWIN EMEFIELE BREAKS DOWN IN COURT AS HE LAMENTS: I'M DYING...I'M DYING...

It was no joke  when Nigerians faced the wrath of the naira redesign policy early this year by former CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, as his bad naira  redesign policy suffered both the rich and the poor in the country. Nigerians all over the country saw and experienced the other side of economic meltdown to a stand still. A lot of businesses  collapsed,  many Nigerians died of hunger, a lot lost their jobs, mental sickness and frustrations became the orders of the day! It was a cash crunch period to remember for a long time, all thanks to Godwin Emefiele .

The former CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele was an authority on  his own as far as the Buhari's administration was concerned.  He thought less about the Nigerian people and so, he kept dishing out policies that were drowning both financially and mentally on the country. The peak was when he introduced the naira redesign policy late last year and implemented it early this year. Nigerians suffered so much that period.

Today, the story is so different for the former CBN governor, Emefiele.  Middle of this year, his big troubles began as soon as a new administration took  over in May 29th 2023.

Now, the big question is: Is there any Nigerian that is above the law regardless of their status quo in the society? Obviously, not. Emefiele is meant to face the wrath of the law now and so, from wearing suits as a CBN governor then to wearing jalabias in and out of the courtrooms now.

Another big question is: What are his offenses? Let it out. And why is he wearing a jalahia and carrying a Bible at the same time. That can pass for a two factor authentication. Like seriously. No discriminations though. But that is how confusing Godwin Emefiele can be. 

The firearms case has been written off by the Lagos high court and  now the federal government has arraigned him before the federal high court in Abuja on 20 counts charges mostly based on frauds. 


Yesterday, it was alleged that Emefiele is on a count charge of #6.9b procurement funds and so against that background he  was seen moving agily into the court room but all of a sudden, the former CBN governor (Maradona) received a call and that was it! Rhythm come charge to: I'm dying... I'm dying....And because the 2nd defendant, Sa'adatu Yaro due to what her counsel said about her absence, that she got a call to be in the hospital  yesterday morning, was not present. So the case was stalled by Justice Muazo of the federal high Court, Abuja to 23rd of August  2023.

Big question is: Why did the body language of Emefiele changed all of a sudden after a phone call? Because nobody was seen touching him or harassing him.  And the cameras? Of course journalists must do their jobs. The news must fly.

Emefiele wanted to keep hiding from the cameras but he was told by the guiding lawyers to walk head long out of the court room until they meet again on the 23rd of August  2023.
