I AM SET FOR DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES FOR MY PEOPLE...New Onojie Of Ebelle Kingdom, HRH Usifoh David.

The ancient Ebelle Kingdom is one of the towns fast experiencing development and civilization under the Iguenben local government area in Esan land in Edo state. Edo state is one of the South-Southern part of Nigeria.  

Recently, Ebelle Kingdom lost their Onojie ( King), HRH Aikpaojie 1 (Jp) to the cold hands of death in 2022, hence the emergence of his son and successor, HRH Usifoh David, a product of the University of Benin( Uniben) and judging by his appearance, he looks the youngest Onojie in the whole of Esanland for now.

Speaking to Efosa Tv Channel via a telephone interview,  HRH told E.T.C that he is set for giant developmental strides in his kingdom and  that he is most willing to work with the youths and Sons and daughters of Ebelle Kingdom in diaspora.  He also spoke on working with creative minds in and around his kingdom. 

And when further asked about the people of Ebelle Kingdom and his take on them, he gladdenly  responded , right now I'm enjoying the company  of my people who are willing to assist in any way they can because they know tradition is a continue and as a young successor who didn't  really  grow up in and around my late king father, they can understand it is a gradual process for me traditionally. So, my chiefs and good people of Ebelle  Kingdom are  my responsibility and I will make sure they in turn get good leadership and kingship from me with God on all our sides.

Speaking further, HRH Usifoh David said, he would want to see laudable  projects on infrastructure,  Business,  Education,  Sports etc in his kingdom and he hopes the ever willing sons and daughters of Ebelle Kingdom in diaspora will also be there to assist.

Naira Marley, a Nigerian artiste, became the new face of NDLEA  on the  17th of August  2023 as he visited the headquarters of the NDLEA situated in Abuja, the federal capital territory, to campaign and kick against drug abuse and substance abuse.
