HEARING STALLED AT OSOGBO HIGH COURT TODAY AS PART OF NEGLIGENCE FROM THE APC PARTY IN OSUN STATE, UNTIL 1ST OF NOVEMBER 2022.
The 16th July 2022 gubernatorial election in which the People's Democratic Party captured the day with a large margin of votes from the Osun people, is still lagging at the tribunal as the APC party has already filed in their petition and 17th of October 2022 was supposed to be a pre-hearing report from both the petitioners (APC) and the defendants ( PDP, INEC and Governor-Elect).
Let's quickly recall that there are three respondents in this suite, the PDP, INEC and the Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
The pre-hearing was concluded on 17th of October 2022 at the tribunal and commencement of official hearing was slated for 26th October 2022 at the high Court in Osogbo, but on the 24th of October 2022, message was sent out by the tribunal that one of the three man judges panel was sick and so, hearing can not commence on the 26th October again and then hearing was moved to 31st of October 2022.
Moving forward, the APC party was supposed to serve the respondents (PDP, INEC and the Governor-elect) some documents for verification by the Petitioners, Respondents and Counsels 24hrs before the hearing date which was today but they ( APC) did not do so hence, hearing was postponed to 1st of November 2022 at the Osogbo high court.
