GOV. SEYI MAKINDE REJECTS DG CAMPAIGN COUNCIL FOR THE PDP CAMPAIGN TEAM 2023. PERSONAL BEEF AGAINST THE PARTY OR RE-ELECTION FEVER?

The PDP  political party is no small political party to contend with when it comes to serious  politicking just so 2023 general elections are hitting up from every  angle and  in every political  party across the country.  

Not too long ago the two big contending parties in Nigeria, the APC  and the PDP  showcased their presidential  candidates  and their running mates to the rest of the world hence the journey is intensified to get all DG(s) campaigns in place and in checks.

Against that background, regions are checkmated in choosing their DG(s) campaigns. The APC  presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu  chose  before  now the former governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima because he is from the North East same as PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. 

Returning such gestures or equating such gestures, the PDP's presidential candidate  also appointed the incumbent governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde to be the Party's  DG  campaign council team because  he is same region with the APC presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu. 

Unfortunately, the Oyo state governor  did turn down the offer of being the DG campaign team for the PDP's presidential candidates( Atiku and  Okowa).

Big question now  is: Why is that? 

But the governor gave his reasons since he has his own re-election bid to focus on and to him is a lot of work to concentrate on since his contenders in the APC and the Accord Party are seriously  warming up too.

Reality checked, how is re-election bid a difficult task to printing  posters that will carry both the governor's  campaign pictures side by side the PDP's presidential candidates pictures, a difficult task? Question. 

Another big question is:  Is the PDP as a party ought not to be working as a team by now to be warming up to winning the 2023 presidential election instead of indirect beefing from their inner caucus?

Now, can the beefing actually be behind the fact that Gov. Okowa of Delta state was made vice presidential candidate instead of Gov. Wike of Rivers state having come 2nd at the PDP's national convention ( Primary), in Abuja?

Let the PDP political party start putting their acts together instead of internal beefing from each other because  Nigerians  await all political parties in 2023 and the PDP party is one of them.

Naira Marley, a Nigerian artiste, became the new face of NDLEA  on the  17th of August  2023 as he visited the headquarters of the NDLEA situated in Abuja, the federal capital territory, to campaign and kick against drug abuse and substance abuse.
