VICE PRESIDENT, PROF. YEMI OSINBAJO TO THROW IN THE TOWEL 24 HOURS TO PARTY PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY?

The hit of the presidential race is at its peak now and the  APC political party says we are ready for our convention and so few days ago, the party screened 10  out of her 23 presidential aspirants out. Even though the national party chairman,  Abdullahi Adamu is quoted to have said no aspirant was screened  out.

Against that background, the other aspirants that made top list in the screening exercise, are gearing up against tomorrow's primary at the Eagle square in Abuja, FCT.

The likes of the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is said to be considering throwing in the towel before the presidential primary tomorrow , a reliable source said.

The source said: In order not to handover an easy victory to the likes of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo  is  considering  throwing in the towel and quitting  the race.

Big question is: Why does the VP wants to throw  in the towel at this eleventh hour?

The source  said, we agree at the meeting that the VP is more popular among  ordinary Nigerians but lacks critical  support among party leaders. 

Another thing we are looking at is the issue of fairness and  equity. We are likely to support a governor  from the South-West that is a christian, the source said.
