PDP DISQUALIFIES TWO ASPIRANTS AND POSTP0NES LG CONGRESSES TO A NEW DATE.
The People's Demoncratic Party has few days ago come up with the disqualification of two out of the 17 presidential aspirants they had on their earlier list.
This is coming immediately they had their screening for presidential aspirants at the Legacy house in Maitama, in the federal capital city.
The Appeal committee led by the national chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu upheld the disqualification
The PDP was not quick to tell the world who their disqualified presidential aspirants are but information reaching Efosa TV Channel News is that the two aspirants are: Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze and Mr Cosmas Ndukwe. These two were screened out by the PDP's screening committee led by former senate president, Sen. David Mark.
To further spotlight on the PDP's political activities in some states, not less than six senatorial aspirants have also been said to be disqualified. Two most prominent ones disqualified are Hon. Ubolo Itodo Okpanachi and Aminu Abubakar Suleiman. These two were said to have misconduct and non registered voter's cases.
Hon. Ubolo was disqualified for misconduct while Aminu Abubakar was disqualified for illegal voter's registration. These two were disqualified by the national assembly screening committee.
On the other hand, the PDP has also postponed her earlier scheduled LG Congresses to elect national delegates to a new date, yet unknown. This LG Congresses were supposed to come up today 5th of May 2023 nation wide.
