BUHARI'S MINISTERS RESIGN TO PURSUE POLITICAL AMBITIONS AS ROAD LEADING TO THE PRESIDENTIAL VILLA OPENS WIDER.
As the general elections of 2023 draws nearer in Nigeria, political juggernauts are out in the field juggling each other with their different styles of declarations to collections of forms and then screening before the rigors of going through the big one which is the primary of each party. And then the dice will be cast. Candidates will then emerge from each party and then another rounds of rigorous campaigns before the elections proper.
Now, the big questions are: How many of these aspirants are really ready to pilot the numerous affairs of the country? Where will they start the journeys from? How many of them are ready to let go of the many temptations of the cabals when they finally get to the Aso villa?
So far, close to 40 or more aspirants have indicated interest to run for the presidential race in Nigeria including the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who right now is intensifying his campaigns in the NorthEast.
Just so, on Wednesday ( Today), President Muhammadu Buhari at the FEC meeting asked all his ministers contesting for political offices in the 2023 general elections to resign in order to focus on their political ambitions.
The APC aspirants affected include: Min. Of Transportation, Rotimi Amechi, AGF Abubakar Malami, Min. of Science and Technology, Ogbonanya Onu, who resigned toda and a host of others.
